1,100 people trained by Warangal TASK secure jobs

Warangal: Government Chief Whip and Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, along with Telangana Academy of Skills and Knowledge (TASK) CEO Srikant Sinha visited the regional working office of TASK, here on Friday.

Speaking during his visit to the regional office working from the premises of Punnami Guest House, Vinay Bhaskar said that IT Minister KT Rama Rao was striving for development of Warangal as the second IT hub of Telangana after Hyderabad.

“While TASK Centre has so far trained 2,300 people, 1,100 have secured jobs in good companies,” he said.

The TASK centre, an initiative of the State government, was established in 2014 for skilling youth and creating synergy between institutions of government, industry and academia with the objective of improving quality, relevance, access and outreach of training. The first regional centre of the TASK was inaugurated in October 2017.

“We will expand the Warangal branch and bring more ITES service companies to Warangal city to provide the required professional skills and help them get the jobs,” Vinay Bhaskar said and added that all the required facilities were provided at the TASK centre besides accommodation for the students.
