£58m, 250-home development coming to Ashworth

Avant Homes has purchased 25-acres of land in the Nottinghamshire village of Awsworth where it plans to deliver a £58m development of 250 homes.

Located on Shilo Way in the sought-after village, the development will offer a mixture of two, three, four and five-bedroomproperties across 15 of Avant Homes’ contemporary house designs.

Properties will range from a two-bedroom mid-terrace house to a five-bedroom detached property. Of the 250 homes planned, 20 per cent will be designated to affordable housing.

Subject to planning approval, construction will commence in November with the first homes set to be launched for sale in early 2023.

The approximate build length of the development will be circa four years and will create 120 jobs.

In addition to providing high-quality new-build homes, Avant Homes will commit a community contribution of £1.7m to support local education, public transport, and open green space maintenance.

The development will we delivered by Avant Homes Central, which has nine sites currently under construction stretching from South Yorkshire to Nottinghamshire.
