Writing your will has just got easier as The Willwriting Partnership has a recruited a new consultant in Bristol.

Daniel Castle, 52, from Bristol, has now trained as a willwriter and has become an affiliated member of the Society of Will Writers. With the latest figures estimating that 31 million adults in the UK do not have an up to date Will, Daniel says ‘I can’t wait to get started helping put people’s minds at ease. So many people put off making a Will because they don’t know where to start or think they have plenty of time. I’ll make it easy for them to protect their assets and secure their family’s future!’

The Willwriting Partnership has been writing Wills since 1999 and prides itself on providing a friendly and professional home-based service. “We have learnt a lot over the past 20 years, but we still hold family values at our core,” says Antony Brinkman, managing director of The Willwriting Partnership and chairman of the Professional Standards Board for the Society of Will Writers.

“The face-to-face approach helps to ensure that each will we write is specifically tailored to the client and their family. Our consultants offer a high level of service and support to everyone and no two are the same!”

Having lost his mother and being left to deal with the estate, Daniel has a true understanding of how difficult it is when a loved one dies without a will.

“Intestacy [the rules that apply when there is no will] can be a long, drawn-out process which doesn’t consider the feelings of the family,’ he says, ‘I felt helpless and wasn’t sure what to do. I kept doubting myself that I was doing what Mum wanted. I never want anyone to go through that heartache. It comes at the worst possible time too, when you just want to grieve.”

Ultimately when a person dies all their worldly goods are distributed either by the rules of the state or by their own wishes. Estate Planning is about more than just a will. It is about ensuring your family know what you want to happen, have the legal framework in place to make it happen, and the support to make it easy.

“I am so excited to start my new career. It’s well paid and flexible enough to fit around my family, and best of all I know I’m doing something that I am passionate about and will help a lot people. I can’t wait to get started” says Daniel.
