Agents who reckon they pack a punch at work have a chance to literally prove it after evictions expert Paul Shamplina launched his latest ‘Rumble with the Agents’ event to be held on 9th December 2021.
The annual black-tie boxing jamboree will see property pugilists in the ring all in aid of charity during an evening gala gathering and follows two attempts to hold the 2020 and 2021 events thwarted by Covid.
Shamplina is looking for property people willing to get involved which will include pre-event training and bouts in the ring on the night. The TV star says he will boxing in the ring too.
Guests will see five fights and enjoy a sit down three-course meal, charity auction and raffle, celebrity guests and DJ.
Sponsored by the Hamilton Fraser Group which will be celebrating its 25-year anniversary, Rumble with the Agents will be raising funds for Cherry Lodge Cancer Care in Barnet, an independent charity committed to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer, their carers, family and friends.
The charity, which works alongside the clinical care of the NHS in an area centred on Barnet and covering much of North London and South Hertfordshire, is particularly close to Paul and his family.
£100k raised
To date, ‘Rumble with the Agents’ events, run by Paul and his wife Rita, have raised in excess of £100,000 for various charities.
“It has been a tough 18 months for many businesses and people, in particular those who were categorised as vulnerable due to an existing health condition and therefore had to shield for many months,” says Shamplina (pictured).
“Charities, like Cherry Lodge, have also suffered immeasurable loss because of lockdown, having to modify and even suspend services, and this in turn has had a devasting impact on the families they support.”
“If restrictions continue to be lifted, I hope to make this the biggest Rumble event we have hosted to date and would like to call on my fellow property professionals or help us raise as much as possible.”
