EastEnders fans were enraged after BBC bosses slashed the nail-biting instalment of the popular soap as viewers anxiously wait for murderous Gray Atkins to be captured by police.
During Tuesday’s edition of the long-standing show, fans were left on the edges of their seats as the nervously watched the tension build around the TV villain now that residents in the Square have started to discover his horrific crimes.
As the disgraced solicitor continued to successfully evade the law, Kheerat called Chelsea Atkins to warn her that her killer husband is on his way to cause chaos in their family.
But the devastating news was too late as the terrified mother returned to the ward where her son lay to find his crib empty without so much as a blanket taken to keep him warm.

And it’s fair to say the controversial episode left viewers up in arms as the took to social media to share their fury online.
One user penned: #EastEnders was tooooooo short tonight! 20 mins!? I need Gray gone, STAT!.”
Another added: “Eastenders was only 19 minutes long tonight … It feels way to short and is quite annoying #EastEnders @BBC.”
A third fumed: “What are you lot doing? Finishes 11 MINUTES EARLY !! Yesterday it was the full 30 mins !! Finally Gray is getting found out and you short cut us [face palm emoji[ #EastEnders.”

But that wasn’t the only thing that left viewers scratching their heads, as fans were baffled as to how the scheming legal professional managed to take their child without being caught.
The doting mum waited outside the door to the Intensive Care Unit as she listened to the terrifying phone call, which would have made it almost impossible for Gray to sneak past her and take they baby without being caught.
Once again, fans took to Twitter to share their confusion online as they attempted to work out how he kidnapped their beautiful son Jordan.

One User questioned: “Wait, how the hell did Gray somehow sneak past Chelsea to snatch Jordan in the first place given she was literally right outside the door the whole time?
“Also other than her statement there’s no actual evidence against Kheerat is there? Maybe she could withdraw it? #EastEnders.”
Another agreed: “No cause how did Gray take Jordan when Chelsea was at the door the whole time ? #EastEnders.”
A third hoped: “Let’s hope Jordan was taken by the nurse for one last check up [fingers crossed emoji] #EastEnders.”
Meanwhile, one fan on the show pointed out: “Hate seeing Gray being one step ahead by taking Jordan from the hospital, thankfully not for long now. [shocked emoji] #EastEnders.”
