Chill Brands Group PLC (LSE:CHLL, OTCQX:CHBRF) said Callum Sommerton, formerly international brand director, has been promoted to chief executive officer.
Antonio Russo and Trevor Taylor, who have been sharing the top job as co-CEOs, will remain board directors but with new roles that “play to our strengths”.
Russo has moved to become chief commercial officer, focusing on sales and marketing activities within the physical retail and digital channels.
Taylor has been appointed chief operating officer and will focus on improving the company’s approach to logistics and fulfilment.
Michael Sandore, who was appointed chief commercial officer in January, has stepped down with immediate effect.
Chill said Sommerton, who joined the company in 2021, is a former legal professional “with brand protection and regulatory experience” and a brand consultsnt, who “has helped to create, develop and protect major brands in multiple industries and across numerous jurisdictions”.
Sommerton, who has his LLB from the University of Reading, will spend his time managing the company’s strategy in the US and interacting with investors, partners, and regulators in the UK, it added.
He said: “These management changes are a reflection of our commitment to sustainable growth and profitability for Chill Brands. I have ambitious plans for the company and will share a comprehensive forward-looking strategy shortly.”
Taylor added: “We look forward to continuing our work at the company through our respective appointments which will better enable us to play to our strengths.
