In Telangana Budget 2022-23, over 90,000 government job vacancies have been announced across various departments. Giving a huge relief and hope to the people of the state, the government has leveled up the employment game and is expected to release notifications shortly.
Apart from this, CM Rao has also said that the services of about 11,103 contract employees will also be regularised from now on. According to local media reports, the financial outlay for this regularisation and filling up of nearly 80k vacancies through direct recruitment would about around Rs. 7,000 crores.
Further, through Telangana Budget 2022-23, the government has also made an effort to provide relaxation in terms of recruitment criteria, rather than just providing more opportunities. Once the notifications are released, it is likely for the upper age limit to be relaxed by a few years for some posts. This would give more opportunities to people to utilise these vacancies to the best.
Telangana Budget 2022-23 also aims to bring about some policy changes with regards to recruitment. As per reports, the state government is planning to notify direct recruitment opportunities in advance so that people know about these vacancies better and can utilise that time to plan ahead. An annual recruitment calendar is also on the cards.
Before announcing Telangana Budget 2022-23, CM Rao had already created buzz when in a recent meeting, he asked all unemployed people to carefully hear his speech.
