Converted £1.3m Newcastle church among the most viewed properties on Zoopla in April

Property website Zoopla has released a list of the most popular Newcastle houses with visitors to the site in April

Let us pay – a newly converted church on Walbottle Road, Walbottle, attracted a huge amount of interest on property website Zoopla in April. On the market for £1.3m, it was one of the most viewed Newcastle houses in April, and it is easy to see why.

As well as a thoroughly modern makeover, the church, built circa 1860, retains a host of traditional features, such as beautiful stained-glass windows, exposed beams and wood-burning fires.

A large corridor leads through the centre of the property, giving access to all principal rooms and subsequently showcasing a lavish split wind staircase, not only providing access to the first floor, but displaying a gorgeous and original detailed piece of art and architecture.

A two bedroom bungalow in Roachburn Road, Hillheads, on the market for £165,000 also attracted a lot of interest on Zoopla last month. The property briefly comprises of entrance lobby, living room, fitted kitchen, rear hall, two bedrooms and bathroom WC.

Externally, the property benefits from a block paved drive to attached garage and garden to front, private enclosed lawned garden to the rear with patio.

The third property on the most viewed list is a three bed semi-detached house in Ashgill Mews with a price of £46,500 – which gets you a 25% share in it.

It’s a modern with bright and spacious lounge with double patio doors leading to the rear garden, modern fitted kitchen/diner and a WC to the ground floor. To the first floor is there is a master bedroom with fitted wardrobes, double bedroom, single bedroom and a modern family bathroom.

Externally there is off road parking via a private driveway to the front and to the rear of the property is a private enclosed garden with paved patio area.

A five bed house in Stocksfield Avenue, Fenham on the market for £250,000 also caught the eye. SAs well as ample space inside it has gardens to the front and rear, off street parking and garage.

Finally a charming property in Pecks House Farm Cottages positioned between Westerhope and Kenton Bank Foot proved another hit on Zoopla. The three bed cottage was on the market for £225,000.
