Estate Agents red-faced as people point out pool at £766k home ‘looks rude from above’

A three-bedroom home on the market for $1m (£766k) has caused a stir online after estate agents included a drone photo of the property from above – which makes the pool look ‘rude’

Estate Agents were left red-faced after posting a £766,000 listing as people couldn’t help but notice the pool “looks rude from above”.

Ansley Real Estate added a three-bedroom home in Atlanta to the property site Zillow – using a drone to get aerial snaps of the luxury home.

The two-storey house boasts three marble-ladle en-suite bathrooms, a spacious wood kitchen and a wine cellar in the basement.

But, potential buyers were left in stitches after seeing images of the heated pool from above, which appeared to be in the shape of “a penis and balls”.

Social media users nicknamed the property the “penis palace” and joked that the pool “turned them on”.

One person even playfully suggested the wide “base” of the pool would be more realistic with some foliage.

Brandi Fernandez wrote: “Well that pool is sure to get you your daily dose of vitamin D.”

Another Facebook user, Jennifer Menge, added: “I don’t know what turns me on more…the pool or the wine cellar.”

Other eagle-eyed browsers also commented on how the fireplace in the open-plan living room resembled a uterus – creating a suspicion that the suggestive-looking pool was intentional.

However, an employee at Ansley Real Estate confirmed the drone photo of the pool has been removed after attracting a whole lot of attention online.

They said: “I didn’t realise it was going to get the attention that it did, but we wanted to get the drone shots done to show the property and where it’s located.

“I don’t think it was the intention [for it to look like that] when building the pool.”

Despite the listing blunder, as of March 9, an offer has been accepted on the house – although the sale is “not complete yet”.
