EX-DUNDEE director Giovanni Di Stefano claims Bond legend Sir Roger Moore wanted to give evidence in his fraud trial.
In a barmy rant, the fake lawyer says the late 007 icon was refused to chance to speak on his behalf in court.

He claims to have been been pals with Sir Roger, who died in 2017 and therefore can’t confirm the friendship.
Self styled “Devil’s Advocate” Di Stefano, 66, is currently in jail after a being found guilty of a series of frauds in 2014.
A statement released online from Di Stefano said: “A number of people including Dr David Thomas QC, Roger Moore (007) and many others wanted to give evidence in my favour but were refused.”
After Sir Roger passed away, Di Stefano said: “Devastated to hear the news of Roger Moore a true gentleman I will never forget some or our wonderful conversations we had together.”
The madcap Italian says he is now a political prisoner having served his sentence.
It comes after a court heard last month he wouldn’t be released as he hasn’t repaid £2.5million he swindled.
Di Stefano committed a series of frauds on victims he tricked into thinking he was a bona fide legal professional, prosecutors told jurors at Southwark Crown Court eight years ago.
He was convicted of offences including deception, fraud, and money laundering and given a 14-year prison sentence.
Mr Justice Swift heard how in 2014 a crown court judge also made a confiscation order, under the terms of the 2002 Proceeds of Crime Act.
Di Stefano was told to pay £2.5million or serve an additional six-year jail sentence. He had not paid and will not be released until May 2023.
He infamously claimed to have represented the Serb warlord Arkan, and Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
In 2003, he became a director of Dundee and attracted Italy international Fabrizio Ravanelli to the club.
But the club quickly ran into financial difficulties and he quit after five months.
