August 2021 will see the launch of a new Fine & Country licence serving West London, Fine & Country Uxbridge, run by Director Gurpreet Mahal.
Gurpreet comments that the market in West London is stable and that the upper quartile of properties on the market managed to hold their average prices year-on-year since 2020. He continues, “The reason we decided to open our office in Uxbridge is that we felt there was a lack of local agents showcasing the upper end of the market in and around the Uxbridge area. The main demographic in the area are families who are looking to upsize and move out the Greater London area, were there is more space and quieter areas, while still offering easy access back into Central London.”
Uxbridge is located just 20 miles west of Central London and has great transport links, with the Underground Station offering both the Metropolitan Line which can take commuters directly into Liverpool Street for business, and the Piccadilly Line, ideal for leisure days visiting Knightsbridge, or Covent Garden. The area is set either side of The Grand Union Canal and has an abundance of period homes, making it a very attractive proposition to potential buyers. Gurpreet mentions that the main type of properties that his office will be targeting are detached houses starting at £900,000.
The area boasts all the modern commodities you would expect from London, multiple shopping centers, and a leisure complex provide entertainment and practicality, whilst independent shops, conservation areas, country parks and cycle parks ensure that your down time is also duly taken care of.
When asked why Gurpreet chose the Fine & Country brand, he had this to say; “Knowing that properties within the upper end of the market often require specialised marketing, we wanted to enhance our service offering to ensure that we are able to capture these sales by having a luxury high-level sales offering within our portfolio.”
