Frogmore Cottage: Inside Princess Eugenie and Jack Brookbanks family home – pictures

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank moved out of Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace and into Frogmore Cottage on the Queen’s Windsor estate in November 2020. Frogmore was the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who refurbished the property for an estimated £2.4million which they eventually paid for. Understandably, Eugenie and Jack wanted to put their own stamp on the interior design, so what does Frogmore Cottage look like inside now?

The home was originally made up of five separate properties for the working on the estate.

In 2019, however, before Harry and Meghan moved in, it was converted into one five-bedroom home.

But since leaving the UK for the US and now living in Montecito, California, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex offered Eugenie and Jack to live there with baby August.

An unnamed source said: “Eugenie and Harry have always been close and they chat privately all the time.

“It was Harry who suggested she and Jack could use Frogmore Cottage because it is much bigger than their cottage at Kensington Palace.

“It is a case of one family member reaching out to another,” they told Hello!

Since moving in, the Duke and Duchess of York’s daughter have given fans a glimpse inside the property.

In several Instagram posts from @the_anti_slavery_collective, a collective co-founded by Princess Eugenie and aims to bring change-makers together to raise awareness for modern slavery, several rooms of Frogmore Cottage can be seen.

Earlier in the year, the royal shared a glimpse of the beautiful kitchen, while filming her first-born playing with a toy shark.

August was captured with his cuddly toy while sitting in a bouncer.

Pale beige tiles in a diamond pattern and wooden cabinets in a slightly darker tone were visible in the background.

It is also possible many of the interior design pieces Eugenie had in her previous home, Ivy Cottage, would’ve come with her to Frogmore Cottage.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Princess explained: “My bedroom is full of photos my parents have taken.

“Mumsy took one of an elephant spraying water on its back, which is incredible, and there’s one Papa took of Balmoral Castle.

“I’ve got a lot of art that needs to be put on the walls. And there are shoes everywhere.”

Frogmore Cottage is set amongst some beautiful grounds where plenty of daffodils grow each spring.
