Reality TV fans across the UK will be aware of some of the amazing properties that are featured on their favourite shows.

From modern open-plan living spaces and countless bedrooms to huge gardens and swimming pools, most of the homes we see are worth millions of pounds.

Amongst the properties used as backdrops and sets, there are a few that top the list of reality TV’s most expensive houses.

From The Apprentice house in London to the Love Island villa in Majorca, these filming locations unsurprisingly hold much more value, and desire, than others.

Research from property portal Boomin reveals which popular shows splash the most cash when it comes to housing their stars.

The Bachelor

The famous mansion on The Bachelor is ranked as the most valuable reality TV home of all time.

Found in Santa Monica Mountains in Malibu, the extensive villa is valued at an eye-watering £37.2 million.

Having been used as the base for the American dating show for most seasons since 2012, the mansion is 10-acres nd has enough room to host 300-person events.

The property features seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, an infinity pool and picturesque views over the canyon.

The Apprentice

The first UK property to top the list is The Apprentice house featured in both the 2017 and 2018 series.

The luxury home, where the candidates stay for the duration of the show, is in Lond’s Notting Hill and is priced at a whopping £15.5 million.

The housed used in The Apprentice, which is set to return to screens in early 2022, spans five floors, with seven bedrooms, four bathrooms, three reception rooms, a dining room, playroom and staff apartment.

It also features an extravagant master suite, which is set over one whole floor and comes with ‘his and hers’ dressing rooms.

Fans of The X Factor, which last aired in 2018, will remember the excitement of seeing which properties would be used as the judges houses.

But as well as the likes of Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh’s homes, the contestant’s house holds a lot of value itself.

The stars of the final series of the talent show stayed in a mansion in Ealing, West London for the duration of their time on the live shows.

The grand red brick house, worth £8 million, boasts an indoor swimming pool, ten grand bedrooms, six luxurious bathrooms and outside space for the budding stars to practice their moves.



Love Island’s Casa Amor

Every year the cast of Love Island fly out to Majorca for six to eight weeks to film the popular ITV dating show.

Aside from the Love Island winter series which was filmed in South Africa, contestants are housed is a huge trendy villa in the picturesque village of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar.

The impressive villa, which offers some of ‘the best views of Majorca’, has been valued at £4.25 million.

It features a lengthy swimming pool, huge bedroom with beds for each couple, a lounge and The Hideaway where lovebirds can go for some private time.

Another of Love Island’s sets, Casa Amor, also tops the list of most expensive properties on reality TV.

Usually seen as the lad’s holiday pad, the alternative villa in Majorca, is worth £2.75 million.

The Only Way Is Essex

As one of The Only Way Is Essex’ wealthiest stars, Joey Essex’s Chigwell mansion is on the list of most expensive reality TV properties.

Ex-TOWIE star Joey’s pad, which he paid £1.6 million for in 2014, featured on the show.

This year the four-bedroom lavish home was valued at around £6 million, reports The Mirror.

Joey appeared on MTV Cribs back in 2019 to show off his mansion – which includes a huge garden with a pool, beach bar, hot tub and basketball court.
