The impressive 19th century Welsh castle is currently up for sale for £1,250,000. Within the price tag buyers will get the main Grade II listed property as well as two separate dwellings.
Although any prospective owners will have their work cut out, the stunning estate is likely to be a worthy investment. The 1981 property, named Bryn Corach, sits on 2.6 acres of grounds and features a turret, croquet lawn and castle wall surrounding the garden.

Bryn Corach was extended in the early 20th century with the detached building added in 1963. The estate agent, Dafydd Hardy, says this building is ‘in need of some repair and upgrading works’, but offers the potential for a conversion to holiday apartments or a .lucrative holiday letting business’.

They estate agent added: “Alternatively, planning permission is also in place to demolish the modern accommodation and reinstate the site to a family home.”
There is also a detached former lodge house, although in need of renovation, which could become a comfortable self-contained studio apartment. The lodge has a ground floor lounge, separate kitchen and shower room.

The original structure of Bryn Corach House is listed for its social historical interest as a hotel and for its ”special architectural interest and definite character”.
The grand interior matches the impressive nature of its exterior, with original features such as high coved ceilings, open fireplaces and French windows that convey a periodic style.
