Described as being in a ‘most sought after location’, the house is on Pikes Bridge Fold, Eccleston in St Helens.

This means that the prices in the region over the last 12 months were up 13% on the previous year and 16% up on the previous peak in 2015.

However, looking specifically at four bedroom properties in the vicinity of Pikes Bridge Fold, market information shows that houses are selling for way more than the average.

Rightmove reveals similar homes 0.1 miles away on Chapel Lane are currently under offer for £670,000 and £560,000.

Last year just moments away on Church Lane another property sold for £450,000 and £405,000.

Currently, a four bedroom house 0.2 miles away on Chantry Gate is on the market for £560,000.

Images on Rightmove show that the ground floor is made up mainly of a large open plan kitchen, dining room and family room, to the back of the property.

However it’s also made up of a ‘stylish’ living room with hard wood flooring, a separate utility room and bathroom.

The kitchen is fully fitted with integrated appliances and includes a small drinks area with a wine fridge.

There’s also an entertainment area with breakfast bar, flat screen wall televisions and space for a dining table and chairs.

To the first floor are four double bedrooms all benefiting from fitted wardrobes.

The primary bedroom is described as a ‘real showstopper’ with an open plan bathroom area. It includes twin sinks, a freestanding bath and shower.
