HR Services function brings together four teams to provide a range of support and advice to the University,  The Senior HR Coordinator (Payroll and Pensions) role sits within the Payroll and Pensions team, which is one of four teams alongside:

  • Employee Lifecycle
  • Recruitment and Resourcing
  • Systems and Data

The overall objectives of the HR Services function are to: 

  • Provide an efficient, accurate and timely service in all aspects of the employment lifecycle
  • Develop a comprehensive, accurate and flexible HR information system
  • Advise and support staff on employee relations, employment matters, including interpretation and application of University policies and procedures
  • Provide administrative, procedural and policy development, and support and advice to University committees
  • Ensure compliance with legal and policy obligations
  • Provide a payroll and pension service and administer the University Pension scheme.
