Most of rugby union’s Autumn internationals will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video this year.

17 of the 20 matches taking place in October and November – including all of England, Scotland, Wales, France and Italy’s fixtures – will be screened on the streaming platform, with Ireland’s games to be shown on Channel 4.

All of the England, Scotland, Wales, France and Italy fixtures will be streamed on the platform, Ireland’s matches are set to be shown by Channel 4 this year, however, the IRFU has confirmed that all of its Autumn International games next year will be shown on Prime Video. 


The ATP has announced a comprehensive review of safeguarding policies, which aim to ensure ‘all adults and minors’ involved in professional tennis are safe and protected from abuse. 

The tour has commissioned an independent report, which it says is currently being compiled by a ‘team of expert consultants’.

The ATP says that, until now, it has typically deferred to legal authorities in cases of abuse before determining if further internal action is warranted under the ATP Code of Conduct. The new report, however, is expected to identify opportunities for ‘more proactive involvement’.


Footballco has acquired Italian digital football platform, CalcioMercato.com. The deal adds the business to Footballco’s current portfolio of global and local brands, including global publisher Goal.

Footballco was formed in 2020, following the spinoff of DAZN’s football publishing division and subsequent majority investment by Integrated Media Company (IMC), an affiliate of US private equity giant TPG.


Cricket legend Sir Ian Botham has been named as a UK trade envoy to Australia.

The news comes as the UK government named ten new trade envoys across the world. International trade secretary, Liz Truss, said Botham would “bat for business down under”. 


The second all-female EA SPORTS FIFA tournament under the shESports Cup banner will take place on Monday 23rd August.

The first such competition was held on International Women’s Day (8th March) 2021, and attracted over 800,000 live views. 

The second tournament will be live from 5pm and will be streamed on the official EA SPORTS FIFA tournament. It is produced by gfinity, and is supported by lead partner HyperX.
