Lynne C. Frasier, age 76, of Johnstown, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Albany Medical Center.

Born on September 6, 1944, in Gloversville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Helen (Riska) Ackerknecht.

Lynne worked at Lexington as a Recreation Coordinator. She loved helping people and made a tremendous difference in the lives of countless individuals over her forty year career. At the end of her career as a Recreation Coordinator, Lynne devoted the next 11 years caring for Ashley whom she loved as one of her own and found great happiness with.

Lynne was a talented artist and loving soul. She created beautiful paintings, was an accomplished woodworker, musician and gardener. She was a friend to all and had an extended family she loved with all of her heart. Her smile, love, humor, kindness and hugs will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

Lynne dedicated her life to her children, Michael and Karl Frasier; and considered them to be her greatest accomplishment. They provided her with abundant joy and she was incredibly proud of the dedicated, loving, caring family men they became.

Lynne is survived by her devoted sons, Michael Frasier and Karl Frasier of Johnstown; loving brothers, Louie Ackerknecht (Pam), Gary Ackerknecht and Terry (Deb) Ackerknecht, all of Johnstown; and her beloved aunt, Sylvia Cheney of Johnstown. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Lynne was predeceased by her sister, Donna Lampman.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown, on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 3 until 5 p.m. Services will immediately follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in Lynne’s memory may be made to North Bush United Methodist Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, NY.
