Multiple shots have been fired at a property in the west Belfast last night.
olice, including forensic officers, attended the scene in the Old Colin area on Sunday evening.
It is understood that around 10 gunshots were fired at the front door and windows of the property.
The shooting is the second incident to take place in west Belfast within 24 hours,
A flat in west Belfast had been significantly damaged in an overnight arson attack on Saturday.
Police said a wheelie bin was pushed against the door of the property in the Glasvey Drive area and set alight just before 5am.
PSNI Detective Sergeant McCallum said: “A resident in a neighbouring flat had to leave their address during this incident, and it is fortunate that we are not dealing with any serious injury as a result of this reckless act.
“A significant amount of damage has been caused to the property.”
The officer urged witnesses or anyone with information about the arson attack to come forward.
