The first new homes at Bellway’s Admiral Park development in Tongham will be released for sale next month (February).

The 127-home development, off The Street, is taking shape on the site of a former hop farm which grew Admiral variety hops used by village-based craft ale producer Hogs Back Brewery.

A sales office at Admiral Park will open to the public on Saturday 19 February, followed by a showhome later this spring.

Daniel Williamson, Sales Director of Bellway South London, said: “With work progressing well at Admiral Park, we are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the site for the development launch next month.

“This is a fantastic development for Tongham that is already transforming a disused parcel of land and will help to meet the ongoing high demand for new homes in Surrey.

“Admiral Park is part of a wider joint scheme with Taylor Wimpey that will result in £2.3 million being invested into essential services as part of the planning agreement.

“These financial contributions will be used to fund improvements at schools for children of all ages, as well as infrastructure upgrades within the local area and the development of green transport routes in the village.”

The breakdown of financial contributions for the wider scheme includes £1.9 million to be distributed between Ash Grange Primary School, Farnham Heath End School for secondary age students, and Tongham Daycare nursery.

The national housebuilders will also contribute £250,000 towards road upgrades, and £75,000 for local cycle routes and public right of way improvements.

Admiral Park is a collection of two, three and four-bedroom new homes. Construction is underway at the development and the first homes will be ready for occupation this summer. Bellway plans to complete work at Admiral Park next year.

The wider development will deliver a total of 254 new homes to Tongham.
