Pinsent Masons promotes 23 staff to partner

Head of Pinsent Masons Pensions Services Christina Bowyer is one of the new partners and will lead a team in supporting businesses on a range of critical pension issues. She will also act as an independent trustee.

Bowyer worked at Pinsent Masons between 2007 and 2016 before leaving and then returning to the firm in 2018.

Hugo Cassidy has also been appointed as partner and will focus on technology-backed client solutions. Cassidy, an advanced delivery team specialist, first joined Pinsent Masons in 2019 after ten years at Linklaters.

Senior partner Richard Foley said: “The talent among our newly promoted colleagues this year is, once again, fantastic. The remaining new partners span the firm’s core sectors including energy, infrastructure, financial services, technology science and industry, and real estate.

Those based in the UK are: Richard Bartle; Clea Bigelow-Nuttall; Daniel Gardiner; Kate Hardwidge; Alexis Hayworth; Geraldine Kelm; Sunjay Malhotra; Mark Marfé; Katherine Metcalfe; Cameron McCulloch; Mhairi Morrison; Tom Nener; David Ross; Claire Scott; and Brian Thumath.

The new partners based overseas are: Seema Bono (United Arab Emirates); Thomas King (South Africa); Florian Quintard (France); Louise Santos (Australia); Gemma Thomas (Australia); and Valerian von Richthofen (Germany).
