Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 38, launched property development and interior design firm Banda aged just 23. Edoardo, who tied the knot with 33-year-old Princess Beatrice in July 2020, continues to run the company as the firm’s CEO.

He describes the firm as “a multi-faceted property company based in London, covering portfolio strategy, planning and development, asset management, private client homesearch, interior design and architecture”.

Banda’s website says the firm strives “to craft environments which are both intrinsically beautiful and faultlessly functional” and aims to design homes for affluent clients in “undervalued” parts of London.

Edoardo’s LinkedIn profile claims by the time Prince Andrew’s son-in-law turned 30 he had developed property in London worth nearly £700million in gross development value.

But it seems now the company could go continental after the London-born Italian property developer took a snap of the snowy Alps on Instagram.

Accompanying his photo, Princess Beatrice’s husband wrote: “Banda Design Studios in the mountains.”

An expansion into Europe would be the first time the property developer has worked outside of the UK.

But Edoardo has come under criticism from some for suggesting some areas he has developed residential properties in are “undervalued”.

“There is nothing undervalued in Notting Hill,” one said.
