The average property price in the UK as of May 2021 stands at £254,624, according to the UK House Price Index (HPI). Although this may seem affordable for many, the luxury of living in a city centre could add thousands onto the property price.
They found a traditional four-bedroom farmhouse, complete with 18 acres of land, nestled within the stunning Welsh hills.
The family managed to save a huge £79,000 on the home despite gaining two bedrooms and lots of outdoor space.
All of the outdoor space meant the family could have lots of animals including pigs, ducks and Jersey cows.
The home owners were also on their way to becoming self-sufficient and all the land meant they could grow their own crops including fruits.

“I’m amazed at how much more you can get for your money in other parts of the country, family made a good decision,” commented a third.
The pandemic has caused people’s priorities to change due to many more working from home and spending more time inside.
According to estate agents, as well as rural locations, beachfront homes are amongst the most sought-after at the moment.
The average price of a home in London dipped 1.4 percent in February, according to figures from the Land Registry, after many have realised that they can work remotely from anywhere they desire.
Over the last year, the average property in the area has risen by £31,000, showing many city dwellers relocating to the beach.
According to Rightmove last year, online searches for properties in remote or coastal locations sharply increased.
