More arrests have been made in Rochdale as part of a crackdown on burglary by the Rochdale Neighbourhood Task Force. Two men were arrested on Wednesday 20 October.
Following a burglary at an address on Denehurst Road in Rochdale in September, and a vehicle interference earlier this month on Fairway in Castleton, a 39-year-old man has been arrested, and remains in custody for questioning.
Following a burglary at an address on Whitworth Road in Rochdale in July this year, a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, and remains in custody for questioning.
Inspector Graham Cooke, from the Rochdale Neighbourhood Task Force said: “I hope that it’s becoming clearer to our communities, that we are committed to tackling this sort of criminal behaviour.
“Burglaries can have a very real and devastating effect on those affected by it, and we will continue to take action, and bring those responsible to justice.”
Earlier this week, three arrests were made as part of the crackdown on burglary.
