It’s the cheapest house on sale in the UK – and it’s right here in the heart of Paisley.
The one-bedder is just a couple of hundred yards from the historic Abbey in a street packed with new flats and investment in shops.
But this one has a guide price at auction of just £5,000.

Investors are lining up to bid on the the first floor flat in Lawn Street.
And Glasgow property expert Johnnie Blawthorn said: “The price is absurd and there is nothing near it at the moment.
“Earlier this year a flat in Bonnybride was on the market for £10,000 which was claimed to be the cheapest in the country.
“This Paisley property must be worth a punt.”

It will go under the hammer this Friday at an online bidding session run by Shawlands-based Future Property Auctions.
The sandstone flat is in such a state there is no internal viewing and it needs essential repairs to make it habitable.
It is above a hairdressers and spans 420 square feet.
The large lounge features ornate cornicing and ceiling rose as well as a stunning fireplace and hearth.
In the kitchen you even get a washing machine and electric cooker and the bedroom is double in size.
And you can pop across the road for a dram in the popular Abbey Bar.

Future Property Auctions say: “There is substantial town centre re-development within the immediate vicinity.
“This makes capital growth potential massive on this property.”
They are seeking cash bids and say it “must be sold”.
A month rental from a new tenant would be around £375 a month.
Other property in the street has sold recently for £70,000.

“There is secure door entry at ground level, a communal stairwell and rear garden area.”
Old model cars are currently for sale at Arnold Clark branches in Paisley for around the same price.
There’s a seven-year-old Fiat Panda for £4,800, a Kia Rio the same age for £5,300 or for bang on the £5,000 a 2015 Renault Twingo.
Earlier this year the Paisley Daily Express revealed a red sandstone tenement in Anderson Drive, Renfrew, was on sale at around £10,000.

And last September we revealed frenetic bidding on a bargain Paisley tenement flat pushed the price up to exactly six times its guide price.
The ground-floor home in need of renovation in Stock Street had a guide of just £6,000, but went for £36,000.
