Gillespie Macandrew has an excellent opportunity for Solicitors to join our established Corporate team in our Edinburgh office.  

The successful candidates will become involved in a varied range of work including dealing with commercial company setup, M&A and restructuring as well as commercial contract and other commercial legal work. There is opportunity for the candidate to build their career in corporate and commercial law acting for a range of clients from large companies to SMEs and to gain exposure to corporate work for clients of the firm’s market-leading sectors including energy and land and rural business.

This role requires a highly motivated, collaborative and commercially minded team player with excellent technical skills and a strong client focussed approach. The ideal candidate will be very personable and have a commitment to providing an excellent level of client service, demonstrating a strong positive, proactive attitude. Communication and presentation skills must be strong.

The successful candidates will contribute to the financial success of the team and the Firm by meeting agreed targets.  Candidates will also be expected to contribute to business development and marketing strategies.

Applications are invited from newly qualified Solicitors up to 3 years’ PQE, however we will also consider other applicants. This is a full time position but consideration will be given to part time and blended working.
