The role
This is an exciting career opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Scottish qualified solicitor, to join a dynamic and expanding practice. We are looking for an individual to join our practice to work within Immigration, Asylum and Family Law.
You will take on a full caseload of active cases and manage them effectively by providing comprehensive legal advice in a confident and professional manner. You will have the ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage deadlines.
Experience of Asylum and Immigration law and knowledge of legal aid is essential. Experience of Family law is preferred, but not essential. You will be expected to appear in and conduct hearings in the Immigration and Asylum Tribunal and the Sheriff Court.
The candidate
The desirable candidate will have experience in Immigration, Asylum and Family Law. We are open to level of experience from NQ onwards. We will consider anyone who can competently carry out the work in a client friendly way and bring a positive and dynamic attitude to our growing firm.
The desirable candidate will also be willing to transcend client expectations and be commercially minded in identifying business opportunities focused on the advancement of the firm. Suited to someone who has a keen interest in human rights and is keen to make a real difference to peoples’ lives.
