The best apartments you can buy in Cardiff for less than £100,000

It’s no secret that house prices in Cardiff are through the roof at the moment.

The average cost of a house in the city rose to £218,783 in the third quarter of 2021 – an 11.5% increase on the previous year – according to the Wales House Price Index, with many areas of the capital above this figure.

Recent figures also show how prices in Cardiff have grown twice as fast as wages in the past 15 years with demand increasing all the time and around 8,000 people currently on the waiting list for social housing in Cardiff.

The situation has even led Cardiff council to admit the city is “in the middle of a crisis” with housing in short supply and prospective buyers faced with the increasingly expensive challenge of finding somewhere to live.

But despite this there are still some places on the market in the capital that come with a relatively cheap price tag.

They may not be huge great mansions with expanses of land but they’re attractive, affordable solutions for those looking to find a place of their own.

Some of them even come with their own quirks such as stadium views or access to a pool and gym complex.

So if you’re someone who’s looking to move on a budget here are the best apartments you can buy in the city for less than £100,000.

All listings (taken from Zoopla) are accurate as of January 6 2022.
