As the Christmas celebrations begin in Thatcham, roads will be closed and parking restrictions will be put in place for the safety of residents.
Both sides of The Broadway and the High Street will be closed from 1pm until around 10pm on Friday (December 3).
However, those whose property or premises can only be accessed from The Broadway will be allowed through.
Access will also be maintained for emergency vehicles, but anyone needing to get through may be asked to wait while the route is made safe for them to pass.
The southern end of The Broadway will remain open to westbound traffic only.
Drivers who wish to travel through The Broadway will be able head south on The Moors towards Turnfields in order to avoid this area.
All parking will also be prohibited on the High Street and both sides of The Broadway from around 12.30pm until the event commences.
The temporary bus stop and taxi rank on the High Street and The Broadway will be signed accordingly.
Road closure exemptions will be made for buses, and this year the bus stop will be located on the north western side of the central part of The Broadway.
All buses will need to access The Broadway from the A4 and exit via the High Street.
Taxis are also exempt and will be able to travel through the High Street between 1pm and 10pm.
Those needing to use the High Street to set down or pick up passengers must enter via The Broadway from the A4.
