The Welsh coastal property which is the most viewed in the UK

Zoopla has revealed the top ten most viewed properties in the UK, and Wales has dominated the list.

Six out of the ten properties were in Wales, with a home on the Wesh coast topping the list in the first place.

Whether you’re moving to Wales or already here and looking for a new home, the property market is the hottest it’s been for years.

From spacious family homes to finding a home that fits new needs – like working from home, the coronavirus has certainly put pressure on the property market, according to experts.

If you’re actively looking to buy, you’ve no doubt had a rummage through the leading property sites for the homes you can afford – and ones way over budget just for the hell of it.

Wales Online reported how property experts Zoopla released their top ten most viewed properties in the UK.

Tom Parker, consumer spokesman at Zoopla, said “Properties in Wales have clearly captured the attention of home hunters across the UK with properties in Swansea and Carmarthenshire dominating the top 10.

“With the memory of lockdown still fresh for many people, demand for coastal properties is increasing and with both areas located by the coast and offering reasonably priced properties, this might help explain why they are proving particularly popular.”

So Wales dominates Zoopla’s most-viewed properties UK list, with six stunning abodes boasting a place and homes in Essex, West Yorkshire, Surry and Cornwall completing the list.

1. Pwll, Carmarthenshire: £550,000

This four-storey house is all about making the most of the water views and that surely helps to propel it to the top of the UK’s most popular property list.

The property can offer a new owner five bedrooms and five bathrooms and multiple angles of the absorbing views of the Rover Loughor estuary that stretch out in front of it.

5. West Yorkshire: £2.375m

One of two dream homes on the top ten list probably means that many people were daydreaming about living in this duo of dream homes and having a nose around a property that can command such an eye-watering price tag.

This modern mansion was built in 2001 and comes with a large outdoor pool and pool house bigger than some people’s home, a gym that could rival a David Lloyd centre and six ensuite bedrooms with interior design that could easily sit within a five-star boutique luxury hotel.

6. Llangennech, Carmarthenshire: £799,950

Back to Wales and back to a luxurious house in a county that is currently demanding a lot of attention from potential house buyers.

This contemporary abode has four reception rooms, six bedrooms with two ensuites, a one-bedroom annexe to tick the family generational living box and a village location close to the M4 for easy access to amenities but close to the coast and countryside for those precious days away from work.

9. Tadworth, Surrey: £300,000

It was the proximity to The Downs, the quiet cul-de-sac setting and easy M25 access that persuaded the current owners to purchase this great family home.

This mid-terrace family home is situated in a cul de sac location within easy reach of Tattenham Corner shopping and transport facilities and can offer three bedrooms as well as an open-plan kitchen diner and separate living room.
