A THREE-bedroom house in a prime spot for the school run is up for sale for just £80,000 – and sounds like the perfect place for any parent to snap up.

But despite seeming on paper like the ideal family home, this property is actually hiding a huge secret.

The exterior of the semi-detached pad in Swallownest, Sheffield, hints it needs some TLC, but it does little to prepare house hunters for what to expect inside.

Potential buyers will have to wade through piles of clutter, clothes and old junk if they want to view the home on Chestnut Road.

Although it is situated next door to Aston Academy School, those brave enough will have to be willing to get their hands dirty to live up the road.

Shocking images advertising the houses suggest there wasn’t time for a spring clean before it was put on the market.

After making your way through the dark entrance hall decked out in a garish maroon patterned wallpaper, viewers enter a spacious open-plan lounge and dining area.

But unfortunately, the majority of the space has been taken up by piles of rubbish spilling over furniture and across the floors.

The battered-looking blue couch is camouflaged by the remaining belongings of the previous owner – while an old TV has been dumped on top of the heap.

The opposite end of the room doesn’t get much better, as it is littered with trinkets, garments and other jumble.

And it’s in need of more than just a lick of paint – the crumbling wallpaper and stained walls will require quite the cleaning expertise.

Continuing into the kitchen is where the filth really raises the stakes, as the soiled room needs a complete renovation.

The busted kitchen cupboards are drenched in thick muck, as is the tiling and every single appliance in the stomach-churning room.

It’s impossible to imagine cooking up a storm in the squalid space, littered with cans of beer and other junk.

Peeling wallpaper and the warped and rotted floor prove the icing on the cake for this hellish kitchen.

The three upstairs bedrooms are also crammed with bric-a-brac, old appliances and mountains of paperwork.

Snaps of the master bedroom show a decaying mattress, neglected fitted wardrobes, and further cast-offs cluttering the miserable room.

AWFUL ABODE

Every inch of the bathroom is covered in thick grime and mould, while a dilapidated toilet is shown missing its seat.

The rear garden of the property also mirrors the anarchy indoors, as bold potential buyers would be waiting a while to mow the lawn.

They’d first have to tackle the weed-choked grass, overgrown trees and piles of plastic and wood before even thinking about where to put a flowerbed.

Estate agent’s Merryweathers admitted in the listing it is in need of a “full renovation”, but boasted about its ideal location and decent number of bedrooms.

They wrote: “A three bedroom semi-detached house in need of full renovation and offered for sale by modern method of Auction.

“The property stands on a popular, established development off Aughton Lane being centrally located for travelling to Sheffield, Rotherham and junction 31 of the M1 motorway.”

It seems the buyers will have to be willing to spruce up the home themselves after gutting the place of its layers of grime.

The Sun previously told how “Britain’s most disgusting home” was going under the hammer for £110,000.

The three-bed semi-detached property in Devon was piled up with junk, bottles of urine and rotting food.

And another three-bedroom home was mocked after being put on the market for £150,000, despite being laden huge piles of clutter, overflowing bins and a cat bowl by the cooker.
