POLICE have released footage of the dramatic moment officers burst through a front door during a drugs raid.
Officers from York Neighbourhood Policing Team served a drug warrant in the Clifton area of York last week, after receiving information of a possible cannabis growth in the loft of a property.

A number of cannabis plants were found inside the property and North Yorkshire Police said a 38-year-old man from the city is “assisting officers with their enquiries”.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “Searches of the house turned up a number of cannabis plants and cultivation equipment, which were all seized along with a mobile phone.
“A 38-year-old man from York is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
“Drugs ruin lives, so help us to stamp out drug dealing in your community.
