Winkworth estate agents has decided to make some noise in order to cut through the noise with a new property podcast launching today.

In what may prove to be an interesting marketing initiative, The Property Exchange podcast will air monthly and feature a variety of property professionals from within the Winkworth group.

The first topic to be discussed is town versus country, following a rush in rural sales and exodus from the cities over the last 12 months.

Presented by commentator and broadcaster Anne Ashworth, today’s episode examines what the future holds for the town and country markets. Winkworth’s Chief Executive, Dominic Agace, reveals there are multiple potential buyers for every valuation undertaken by company’s country offices while the London market is also seeing buyers return, with a 48 per cent increase in sales transactions across Winkworth’s central London offices in the first quarter this year.

Charlie Mitchell, Director of Winkworth’s Tooting office, also talks about work-life balance following his move to Suffolk last year and how he divides his time between London and his new home. Charlie claims that the Tooting area is a magnet for those looking for a house or flat with more space and a garden at a reasonable price for South-west London.

We are using it to speak to our clients and keep them informed of our latest thoughts, by providing direct access to the views of the experts within our network. We will be covering different services and focusing on a range of geographical locations. Our clients can tune into the podcasts which are relevant to them at a time that suits them.”

The Property Exchange is available on Spotify and Apple.
